A big-name musical lineup will unite to honor Lynyrd Skynyrd in a concert, “One More for the Fans! Celebrating the Songs & Music of Lynyrd Skynyrd.”
Trace Adkins, Gregg Allman, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Peter Frampton, John Hiatt, Jamey Johnson and Cheap Trick (among others) will celebrate the rock group known for such hits as “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird.” The concert will be taped, for later release, on Nov. 12 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, where the band recorded its One More From the Road live album in 1976.

“Lynyrd Skynyrd’s music has had a profound and unmistakable influence on artists and fans all over the world,” said Don Was, Grammy Award winner and music director for the show, in a press release.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Aug. 18.
